Why don’t we do two #feet in one day? No surgery comes without risk, and the short answer is it is riskier to do both feet at the same time. What if you develop an infection? What if the pain is more than you expected? What if you have an allergic reaction to materials used during surgery? These are all things that happen rarely, but when they do it’s so much better for the patient that it happens on one foot rather than both. When a patient flies in we know time is valuable and each trip can be costly, so we do try to accommodate as much as we can safely.
