I’m not Grant Cardone. I wish I was as smart and as cool as him. But I’m not. I’m also not Brandon Turner from BiggerPockets. I’m not cut out to manage 1000’s of employees, syndicate 1000+ unit apartments, or have millions of followers on social media like they do. I’m a simple guy. We started with one single family rental property here in Michigan. Today, we own 377 units of multifamily real estate. We don’t raise capital from 100’s of investors or syndicate, only to own 2% of the deal. We don’t do these crazy “no money down” get rich quick schemes that end up being a big waste of time. We took our EARNED income and learned how to invest it into CASH FLOW producing apartments that also gives us MAJOR tax benefits. Then we follow what we call the “Strategic Value Add Blueprint” where we fix the problems and increase the income, which increases the property value and allows us to refinance the deal and take out ALL of our original down payment within 12-18 months. We’ve done this “100% cash out refinance” 6 times since 2021 on small multifamily properties. Listen, we aren’t some internet guru’s… And I realize that 377 units doesn’t make me some mogul. But it’s more than enough to provide a really great life for my wife and I and our future kids. I believe EVERY family should own one small multifamily property.
