🐾 Turn Your Dog... Into a Search Dog?! I’m running a 1-day Introduction to Scentwork workshop. Scentwork is one of the most fun things you can do with your dog, and helps them to relax, gain confidence, and improves behaviour all around. In these few hours, you’ll learn how to: - Get your dog searching for hidden items - Introduce activities designed to find people, such as tracking - Utilise your dog's natural instinct to help them feel better about life in general This is perfect for dogs of ALL sizes, ages and abilities, but works especially well for puppies, active dogs, or dogs that may be a bit sensitive. The workshop is designed to equip you with scenting skills you can use at home with your own pet dog, and most dogs are noticeably calmer after a few sessions of some at-home scent games. Other benefits of scentwork include improved mood, boosted health, better digestion, and an all-around better feeling dog. 📅 Saturday 25th April 📍 Crossmolina, County Mayo 💶 €50 (€20 for each additional dog) ⏰ Choose your time slot: 10:00 11:30 13:00 14:30 16:00 🚨 Small groups, therefore there are limited spaces After the workshop there will be an opportunity to join the NW scent dog group, which is a set of ~8 classes in a month that you can drop in with your dog to. Those who attend classes regularly can win badges and prizes as their dogs gain confidence and improve their scenting skills!
