Number is everything! ❤️ Many years ago, my mentor and dear friend Dr. Nestor Fernandez, one of the wealthiest physicians in Canada, shared a simple truth with me: “When you have numbers, you have wealth.” It sounded straightforward… but life had to teach me what he really meant. About 15 years ago, I had a big dream—to create the first osteopathic medical school outside the United States. I sent messages, emails, proposals… and received absolutely nothing back. Not even a polite “no.” Just silence. Fast forward to today. I casually mention that I may start a medical school in the Caribbean… and suddenly my inbox comes alive. Medical schools are reaching out to partner. Universities without medical schools are asking me to build one with them! It’s almost funny how quickly things changed. So what’s different? Numbers! Today, I have thousands of students, and most manual osteopaths across Canada and the United States are my graduates. Without any marketing at all, that community alone could keep a medical school busy for years. There’s a simple lesson here. When you know how to bring in patients—when you have strong numbers—you naturally become in demand. Opportunities begin to find you. So, with a smile, I say: listen to Dr. Fernandez… and maybe listen to me too. If you want to become successful, focus on growing your numbers. Everything else tends to follow.
