Six-mark questions in A-Level Chemistry aren't testing how much your teen knows. They're testing whether they can structure a response in the specific sequence an examiner is looking for. Students who know the chemistry often write too much — in the wrong order. They include the right information but score 3 out of 6 because the argument isn't built in the right sequence, or the depth isn't where the mark scheme requires it. Writing a high-scoring 6-mark answer is a learnable skill. It has nothing to do with how much chemistry the student knows. The free Chemistry Marks Guide explains exactly how these questions are structured — and how students are trained to answer them correctly. 👇 Download it below.
