Position: Construction Site Superintendent Location: Indiana (travel to project sites required) Employment Type: Full-Time Build with Bowers JGBowers Construction is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through closeout. The Superintendent serves as the on-site leader responsible for ensuring safety compliance, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and delivering high-quality projects that exceed client expectations. We are looking for a professional, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with owners, architects, and subcontractors, and takes pride in delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities • Conduct regular jobsite safety meetings and enforce all OSHA and site specific requirements. • Manage all daily field operations on assigned construction projects. • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel. • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with Project Managers. • Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. • Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, and project records. • Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes. • Identify and proactively resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget. • Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to management and clients. • Monitor material deliveries and ensure proper storage and handling. • Participate in project turnover, punch list completion, and closeout activities. Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of commercial construction supervision experience. • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and safety requirements. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. • Proficiency with construction management software (Sage preferred), smartphones, tablets, and digital documentation. • OSHA 30 certification preferred. • Valid driver's license and excellent driving record. • Must be able to pass background check.
