Romek designed by @andreabiggio x @tdfoundry Romek is a serif font family designed for a wide range of uses from branding to editorial design. Romek has been developed and refined over the past two years, rooted in a display drawing inspired by typefaces from the 1920s, the typeface evolved and ended in a text typeface. The font consists of 7 weights and 14 styles in total: Thin, Thin Italic, Extra-Light, Extra-Light Italic, Light, Light Italic, Regular, Regular Italic, Medium, Medium Italic, Semi-Bold, Semi-bold Italic, Bold, Bold Italic. OpenType features include case-sensitive forms, ligatures, old-style and tabular figures, numerators, denominators, fractions, ordinals, small caps and Roman numerals. Romek was designed during the peak pandemic period, specifically during Andrea's return to his hometown of Rome (Italy).
