You could feel the shift in the room at the @socialcommercesummits last week in Manhattan Beach. Not just because AI dominated so many conversations, but because the conversations themselves felt different. Less hype, more operational and more focused on how brands are actually restructuring around AI, creators, content and commerce converging together in real time. One of the highlights for me was watching @ericosiu showcase his fleet of AI agents and hearing @neilpatel break down the latest behavioral and social commerce trends shaping where digital marketing is headed next. What I appreciated most about the summit was the balance between polished presentations and smaller, candid conversations happening throughout the event. It felt much more grounded in real-world brand challenges than theoretical marketing talk. When I started my agency in 2003, brands were still trying to understand social media itself. Now we are entering another major transition period where content, creators, AI systems and commerce are becoming deeply interconnected. That evolution feels very real now. I also appreciated hearing perspectives from Aileen Zou of TikTok, Lindsay Pasteris of YouTube Shopping Partnerships, Rashmi Paul of Pinterest, Mina Zandbar of Mattel, Brandee Winikoff of Unilever and many others helping shape where social commerce goes next. Thank you to the @socialcommercenews team for creating an event that felt both highly curated and genuinely collaborative. What part of AI and social commerce are you watching most closely right now? @slm09 #SocialCommerceSummit #SocialCommerce #AI #DigitalMarketing #CreatorEconomy BrandGrowth
