Be delusional. I mean that seriously. The people who actually build something, the ones who pass selection, start the business, get to the other side, almost all of them had a period where the BELIEF came way before the EVIDENCE. They were acting on a vision nobody else could see yet. This is super important, and not an accident. Success at anything real requires you to move on information you don’t fully have yet. You have to train for a body you don’t have. Show up for a version of yourself that doesn’t exist yet. Hold a standard nobody around you is holding, for reasons nobody can fully explain. That looks like delusion from the outside. From the inside it’s just clarity. Most people need proof before they invest. They need to see results before they commit. They need someone else to go first. And that’s exactly why most people stay exactly where they are. The vision has to come before the evidence. The identity has to come before the result. You have to decide who you are before the world reflects it back to you. That means doing things that look unnecessary. Saying no to things that feel fine but aren’t right. Holding a line nobody asked you to hold. The most dangerous thing you can do is be reasonable about what’s possible for you. Reasonable people negotiate with their potential. They settle for the version of themselves that’s explainable to others. Don’t be reasonable. Be delusional enough to see it. Be disciplined enough to build it. Be relentless enough to outlast every reason it shouldn’t work. Nobody else was ever going to see the vision for you. Stop waiting for other people’s permission to believe in it. #CombatFitness | #DoHardThings
