This factory sealed, 1987 Sportflics Team Preview Card Set is rare to find unopened and has the distinction of containing the only 1987 image of Hall of Famer Tom Glavine! There is a slight tear in the plastic along one edge and the original Toys 'R' Us price tag is on the side as pictured. Sportflics cards have so much nostalgic power for sports card collectors from the 80s and 90s because of the innovative "magic motion" which is as cool now as it was back in 1987! Other notable players to appear within this set includes Bo Jackson & George Brett (Royals card), Greg Maddux (Cubs card), Barry Bonds (Pirates card), Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire, & Reggie Jackson (A's card) as well as countless other superstars of the day! I've pictured some of these cards so you have a sense of the cool fronts and backs, but the pictured cards are not included and the ones you receive are within this factory sealed box. The recent and average PSA 10-Gem Mint prices of some of these cards are impressive reinforcing the value that collectors place on these cards still today. This 26-card standard-size set features a card for each Major League team. Each card shows 12 different players on that team via four "Magic Motion" trios. The narrative on the back gives Outlook, Newcomers to Watch, and Summary for each team. The list of players appearing on the front is given at the bottom of the reverse of each card. The was distributed as a complete set in its own box along with 26 team logo trivia cards measuring approximately 1 3/4" by 2".
