Eroor House by TNC Architecture Located in Eroor, Kochi, this residence was designed for a multigenerational family comprising grandparents, parents, and children. The clients envisioned a home with warm, engaging indoor and outdoor spaces that could comfortably accommodate gatherings with friends and extended family. Situated in a dense neighborhood along a moderately busy main road, the site presented the challenge of balancing openness with privacy. The design responds by creating a buffer between the house and the street through a landscaped garden and a versatile outdoor gazebo. This space serves as an extension of the home ideal for entertaining guests and providing a dedicated area for the clients’ daughters to practice dance. While the exterior is articulated through multiple volumes and three distinct roof forms, the interior is intentionally simplified to create a spacious, interconnected living environment. The resulting home fosters togetherness, encourages interaction, and has become a cherished gathering place for family and friends.
