“Star Wars × Coca-Cola” Original Japanese Coca-Cola Tie-In Promotional Poster, 1978 — Ultra Rare B2 Size: c. 51.5 × 73 cm An original Japanese B2 promotional poster printed in 1978 for a Coca-Cola campaign tied to the first Japanese release era of Star Wars. Not sold at retail—it was issued for a short-lived giveaway promo where fans collected bottle caps from Coca-Cola / Fanta / Sprite to enter prize draws (including items like an R2-D2 radio and official T-shirts). A true collision of late-’70s Japanese advertising and global cinema. Poster design: Luke Skywalker dominates the centre, surrounded by character “cameos” arranged like bottle-cap inserts, with bold Coca-Cola branding and vivid space colour. The B2 size is especially desirable for display and genuinely hard to find—we’ve never had this design in true B2 in our gallery before. Provenance & condition: Sourced from a top private collection of Star Wars tie-up memorabilia; last changed hands in 1994 and kept immaculate—stored rolled in a plastic sleeve. Mint / near mint, unrestored (no linen backing, no touch-ups). Please review the photos—this is the exact poster for sale. COA included. Not a reproduction. #StarWars #CocaCola #JapaneseMoviePoster #VintageMoviePoster #FilmPosterCollector
