THE GAZE OF SATURN 🪐 May 16th marks Shani Jayanti, the auspicious day of Lord Saturn. Simple rituals, offerings, and contemplative meditation can be done to bring clarity, remove karmic blockages, and resolve issues. 🪐 Is Saturn residing in one of the upacaya houses in your natal chart? These are houses of ‘increase’ that strengthen with time, and bring later success (but surely)… Saturn in 3rd House: Determination, courage, focus, technical expertise and rare skill that continues to improve. Saturn in 6th House: Early health struggles which transform into discipline, self-care, healthy habits, and empathy for others. Victory over enemies, obstacles, and even illness. Saturn in 10th House: Political influence, authority, worldly success and respected reputation — so long as one abides by the rules and practice fairness. Saturn in 11th House: Long-term financial gains, organizational success, positive impact on society. 🪐 Saturn does not do as well in the Trikona Houses, which are the 1st, 5th, and 9th, indicating delays, doubts, obstacles, and heavy responsibilities brought forth from previous karma. Ultimately, Saturn is the Lord of Time, and the great teacher of the zodiac. He reminds us that ‘slow and steady wins the race’ — consistency and honesty will always outlast short-cuts and fanciful displays (hallmarks of Rahu or even Venus). And despite being known as the ‘Greater Malefic’ amongst the 9 Planets, when Saturn does decide to bless someone deemed worthy — trust that his gifts will be substantial, powerful, and most of all, long-lasting. May Shani Dev bless us with Time: enough time to resolve our karma, and time to enjoy the fruits of our labour… And perhaps this is one of those greatest gifts. 🙏🏻🦋 #shanidevmaharaj #saturnreturn #karmic
