Claims Agent , Dm Africa Holdings is a registered Insurance Broker and Authorised FSP (52346) provider, we are in search of a Claims Agent at our Durban Offices!.. ------------------------------- Tel: 032 866 0362 Tel: +27 83 235 4310 Email: [email protected] Email: [email protected] Website: www.dmafrica.co.za Physical Address: 46 Essex Terrace, Berea West, Westville, 3629, Durban ------------------------------- Claims: • Communicating with insurance adjusters, policyholders, and other team members regarding information about claims. • Helping clients understand their coverage options, helping them choose between different types of coverage, and preparing applications for new policies. • Following up with clients to make sure they receive the services they have been promised by the insurer. • Processing paperwork including filing claims with insurers. • Working with insurance adjusters to settle claims in a timely manner while ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the resolution. • Preparing reports summarizing claim activity for use by management in evaluating the efficiency of the department. • Recommending changes in company policy regarding coverage options to increase sales of certain products or services. Customer care: • Communicate with customers via phone, chat, and email platforms. • Answer questions, troubleshoot issues and schedule service appointments. • Follow up regarding product or service issues. • Document feedback. • Take new product orders such as new sales. • Update account information. • Assist with other administrative tasks as necessary. • Receive Tickets from Admin, action the ticket e.g., Cancellations, Retentions, Discounts and Amendments. • Assisting with requoting of policies where client needs are met (Retentions). • Assisting with quoting for sales staff who cannot access the App- e.g., Discovery. • Voice Logging of Broker buddy. • Determining premiums. – from 3 quotes. • Liaising with insurance brokers and customers.
