WHY DELIVERY OPTIONS CHANGED AND OUR CURRENT UPDATE There was a reason we stopped park deliveries years ago. Since 2019, we moved away from bus park deliveries because of the way packages were handled. Seeing products thrown around, drivers demanding extra payments, and customers being threatened with their packages was heartbreaking. We lost customers, and it pushed us to seek better, safer alternatives. That journey led us to registered courier services like GIG and DHL. At the time, it worked well. GIG even handled Lagos deliveries then, and delivery fees were as low as ₦875. Those really were good days. As the economy changed, delivery costs rose sharply. Even customers who genuinely wanted to buy became discouraged once they saw delivery fees. In March 2024 alone, GIG increased prices twice, and DHL raised theirs by almost 100 percent. What once cost ₦4,500 went up to ₦9,000. However, to keep serving everyone, we reintroduced park pickup as an optional choice, not a compulsory one. When we previously used park deliveries, it didn’t just affect our operations, it also cost us customers. Many customers were unhappy about having to go out to collect their packages. Beyond that, there were frequent issues where drivers demanded extra money on arrival, and in some cases, park attendants or stock keepers also asked customers for additional fees. This created stress, confusion, and a poor experience. Sadly, we can no longer continue with this option we introduced in 2024. Even with the policy we created about how the park delivery is not insured, customers prefer this and when things go south, they blame us. As of January 2026, we are now using a saner and more reliable alternative for deliveries, while still offering flexible options based on customer preference. Instead of bus parks, you can pick up at a delivery hub close to you. With our current delivery option: • You receive a message once your package arrives • No one demands extra money from you • There is less stress and back and forth • The process is simpler and more predictable Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to trust Bee Organicx 🐝.
