Train as a Relationally-Centred Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (Level 6) What actually helps people change in therapy? Research keeps pointing to the same answer: the relationship between client and therapist. Our training puts that relationship at the heart of everything. Drawing on contemporary existential, psychoanalytic, psychodynamic and humanistic thinking, you'll learn to see therapy as something client and therapist create together. You'll develop as a reflexive practitioner, able to attend to your client, to yourself as therapist, and to what happens between you. Along the way you'll build a solid understanding of how people relate, including transference, deflections and projection and connection, and draw on insights from child and adult development. Your own personal therapy is a core part of the course. It's a professional requirement, and we believe it's essential to truly understanding human relationships.
