“Eagle Medicine teaches us how to take that bird's eye view soaring through the skies and connecting with the upper dimensions to see where we are going. To take a divinely aligned, elevated perspective on where we are going so we can move through the world with intention — so we can move through the start of any new beginning with aligned intention.” —Vibe Check 030326, 3/3 Eagle Medicine 📡✨ I get a lot of questions about exactly what “animal medicine” is. 🐾 It is most often associated with Native American shamanistic traditions, in the practice of having a “spirit animal” or “animal totem”. But it very simply is observing and understanding an animal to learn what it is the animal embodies for us as wisdom keepers: every animal was placed on this earth to carry a unique frequency of truth, and that frequency is the medicine they bless us with. Jesus very frequently used animals in His teaching: 🐍 Be as wise as serpents and harmless as doves. 🐦⬛ Be as trusting as the sparrow, who never worries about whether it will be provided for. Animal medicine carries both wisdom and warning: when we pause to take in what an animal is here to teach us, we bring ourselves closer to our own original divine nature by rehabilitating our connection with creation. 🦅 Eagle Medicine has been with us since the start of March as a spiritual anchor to an elevated perspective above the chaos that continues to unfold in the collective. If you are curious to learn more about animal medicine, my 3/3 Eagle Medicine episode of Vibe Check is the perfect introduction to the depths of wisdom our animal teachers bring us when we learn how to listen to them. 🔗 Comment “VIBES” for a link to the episode, or tap the link-in-bio to join the mailing list and receive my weekly Vibe Check direct to your email inbox.
