Here are some things I did to hit 7-figures in book sales without relying on Amazon. First, I stopped guessing what readers wanted to see on an ad and started testing before I ever scaled. Instead of hoping my tagline would work, I ran small, controlled Click Tests to see which headlines and taglines actually made readers raise their hands. And before I spent real money, I let the data show me which ads real humans responded to. Then I ran structured tests on different motivations, images, and testimonials. I treated Facebook and Instagram like a laboratory, not a lottery. One of my favorite moments was seeing a single tested tagline dramatically outperform everything else. Readers didn’t just scroll past, they clicked, so I added it to my ad, that ad generated sales, so I scaled it. That one validated message created momentum that got me sales and triggered a halo effect inside Amazon. When the message resonates, the platforms amplify it.
