Ad text
The death of my daughter was an initiation I didn't ask for, launching me into profound soul-terrain. Our anguish can become a portal that connects us to the Divine, a crucible for transformation. Willow and I created Holy Lament because it was a space we wished we had had when we were going through our most shattering losses, the death of my child and the death of Willow's mom. Now, twice a year we open the gates for a new circle of companions to join those who have been walking with us for months or, in some cases, years. Holy Lament is an ongoing grief community where we explore 12 sacred thresholds in the landscape of loss through writing, contemplative teachings, poetry, sacred song, monthly live gatherings, and conversations with wisdom-keepers like Anne Lamott and Mark Nepo. One of our essential practices is writing. As you tell your own story with courage and quirky specificity, you tap into the universal stream of the human condition. This is not a course. There is no timeline. You enter at your own pace and stay as long as you need. We welcome all forms of loss. We open registration just a few times each year. Doors close July 31. Monthly or annual membership. All gatherings recorded throughout your journey.
