In a study spanning nearly 19,500 individuals across nine countries, it was found that Indians with wavy and curly hair were most likely to report professional stress. In India, textured hair often carries a cultural weight, coded as less professional and more time-consuming to manage. But waves do not need to be tamed—they need care. “Just like curly hair, wavy hair is reactive to moisture too.
