For many years, our aspiration at Tergar has been to make Mingyur Rinpoche’s teachings accessible in ways that help us bring meditation into the whole of our lives. After returning from his four-year wandering retreat, Rinpoche reflected on how the experience would shape the way he taught: “Now I want to teach in a more experiential style... how meditation can transform our day-to-day life. Intellect, heart, and behavior—all three together.” — Mingyur Rinpoche This aspiration continues to guide us. The Joy of Living app is part of our ongoing effort to create new ways for Rinpoche’s teachings to become part of daily life. It is a place to practice awareness, compassion, and wisdom, to return to teachings when you need them, and to find support for bringing meditation into the ordinary moments of your day. And we see this as only the beginning. We will continue developing and improving the Joy of Living app, with new teachings, practices, and ways to support your journey. Our aspiration is for the app to grow into an increasingly rich home for practice with Mingyur Rinpoche, shaped by his teachings and by the needs of our global community. The complete Anytime Anywhere Meditation course is also now available for free in the app. We invite you to explore the Joy of Living app and continue this journey with us.
