🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Marion — Leah Rowan Y’all… THIS is how you do a reimagining. I absolutely loved this book! What if the most iconic victim in thriller history didn’t die—but fought back? That’s the premise here, and it completely flips Psycho into something darker, sharper, and honestly kind of iconic. Marion is already on the run after stealing money to help her sister escape an abusive marriage, but when she ends up at a roadside motel and that infamous shower scene plays out… things go VERY differently. And from there? It turns into a fast-paced, blood-soaked cat-and-mouse story with a woman who refuses to be the victim. This isn’t just a retelling—it’s a total power shift. If you love morally gray women, revenge energy, and thrillers that feel fresh instead of recycled, this hits. The dual POV adds tension, the pacing MOVES, and watching Marion take control of her story instead of being defined by it? So satisfying. It’s bold, a little unhinged, and exactly the kind of thriller that keeps you flipping pages. Fast, addictive, and such a smart twist on a classic—this one seriously delivered for me. Thank you to St Martins Press for the advanced copy. This banger will hit shelves June 02, 2026.
