I felt sick to the stomach when I heard these words … “There’s nothing you can do, 10% of women have this - you just need to take these 40 tablets (40!!) once a week for a clean out” After being sent away by GP’s saying that I just had to ‘eat more fibre’, a top Gastroenterologist told me that above when I was a young, 21 year old woman suffering from debilitating daily bloating and chronic constipation that was affecting every area of my life. And I was so healthy too… It was a horrible & confusing thing to be going through. Luckily those words didn’t scare me - instead they fuelled the living heck out of me to prove him wrong. And I did. After I found my answers, a fire ignited inside my stomach to help other healthy women who ‘try it all’. Because, as someone that loves helping women, it made me sad to think that other people could get this advice too. I had to get my eating approach out to as many women as I possibly could. And here’s the thing… When you get your gut right - it makes weight balance easier too. It also increases your energy. And, improves your mood. Fast forward 10 years from little Bec who was desperate for answers and to now - with a healed gut, helping thousands of women worldwide.
