#GCOBM Believers and Friends. This is #LENGTHY, but let’s not be #LIMITED, due to LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. Christians have often recognized that God uses many different means to draw people to faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible emphasizes that salvation is by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ, while also showing that He uses people, Scripture, circumstances, and the work of the Holy Spirit to bring people to Himself. Some of the ways people hear about Jesus and come to faith include: 1. Through the preaching and teaching of God's Word. Many people first hear the gospel through sermons, Bible studies, evangelistic meetings, or personal teaching. Romans 10:17: "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (KJV) 2. Through reading the Bible. Some people come to faith simply by reading the Scriptures and encountering Jesus through God's Word. 3. Through the witness of family members. Parents, grandparents, spouses, and relatives often play an important role by sharing their faith and living godly lives. 4. Through friends, neighbors, and coworkers. A simple conversation, an invitation to church, or a personal testimony can become the beginning of someone's journey to Christ. 5. Through the testimony of a transformed life. When people see genuine love, forgiveness, humility, and peace in a believer, they may become curious about Christ. Matthew 5:16 encourages believers to let their light shine before others. 6. Through prayer. Many Christians pray faithfully for loved ones, asking God to open their hearts. While prayer itself does not save someone, Christians believe God uses those prayers as He works in people's lives. 7. Through difficult circumstances. Illness, loss, financial hardship, addiction, or other crises can lead people to seek God and ask deeper questions about life. 8. Through answered prayer or experiences they understand as God's work. Some people begin seeking Christ after what they believe are answers to prayer, healing, or other experiences that point them toward God. Christians generally encourage testing such experiences against Scripture. 9. Through Christian media. Books, podcasts, radio, television, websites, social media, and videos can introduce people to the gospel. 10. Through missionaries and evangelists. Throughout history, Christians have traveled across cultures and nations to share the message of Jesus Christ. 11. Through local churches. Churches provide worship, discipleship, fellowship, and opportunities for people to hear the gospel and grow in faith. 12. Through the work of the Holy Spirit. Christians believe the Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, reveals their need for Christ, and draws them toward God. John 16:8 speaks of the Spirit's work in convicting the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment. #Question: In what way did you become a Born-again Christian Believer? From a traditional evangelical Christian perspective, becoming "born again" involves responding to the gospel with repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus told Nicodemus: > "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3, KJV) Many Christians summarize that response in 4 steps: 1. Recognize your need for God's forgiveness. 2. Repent—turn away from sin and turn toward God. 3. Trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died and rose again. 4. Follow Him as His disciple, growing through Scripture, prayer, fellowship, and obedience. This is also why many believers pray—that everyone who reads their posts, watches their videos, or encounters their ministry would come to know Jesus Christ personally. From that perspective, every conversation, act of love, prayer, or faithful sharing of Scripture can become an opportunity for someone to hear the gospel and respond in faith.
