A BELT, A PRAYER, AND HOPE A homeless man came into Lighthouse Mission needing a belt. After searching through our donated clothing, we couldn’t find one that fit him, so Pastor Jim took off his belt and gave it to him (he was closest to his size) Most people know that food and clothing are always needed at the Lighthouse. But belts, boots & sneakers are among the most requested items by homeless men and women, yet they are rarely donated. We were blessed to be able to give this gentleman a belt, some cold water, spend a little time talking with him about Jesus, and pray with him before he left. Jesus said: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me.” — Matthew 25:40 Giving a belt to a homeless man may seem like a small thing, but in God’s eyes it is an act of love done for Christ Himself. Would you consider donating any belts, boots or ANY clothing you no longer use? Thank you to everyone who supports Lighthouse Mission. Your prayers, donations, and volunteer service make moments like this possible. God is using YOU in a big way to share His love and bring hope to those in need across Long Island. 📍 Lighthouse Mission 1543 Montauk Highway, Bellport NY 11713 💖 TO DONATE: www.LighthouseGIVE.com 📖 LEARN MORE: www.LighthouseMission.com 🙏 NEED PRAYER? www.LighthousePRAYER.com 🥫 NEED FOOD? www.LighthouseHELP.com 🙋 VOLUNTEER: www.LighthouseSERVE.com 🏕️ SEND A CHILD TO BIBLE CAMP: www.LighthouseBibleCamp.com #SuffolkCounty #LongIsland #ServingLongIsland #LighthouseMission #SuffolkCountyNY #Bellport #BellportVillage #Patchogue #PatchogueVillage #Riverhead #RockyPoint #Centereach #MiddleIsland #EastHampton #Ronkonkoma #LakeRonkonkoma #Mastic #Shirley #MiddleIslandNY #LakeRonkonkoma #RockyPointNY #ShirleyNY #MasticNY #PortJeffersonStation #RiverheadNY #CentereachNY #PatchogueNY #BellportNY #Brookhaven #LongIslandCharity #LongIslandNonprofit #HomelessOutreach #FeedTheHungry #FaithInAction #LoveYourNeighbor #ChristianMinistry #JesusChangesLives #ProvidingHopeBeyondTheFood #Matthew2540 #News12 #News12LongIsland #CBSNewYork #ABC7NY #PIX11News #Newsday #LongIslandNews #HelpingOthers #CommunityOutreach #HopeForLongIsland
