Hello, Yorkshire Water here! 💧Due to unforeseen engineering complications and supply considerations, our clean water renewal scheme in Wheatley Hills has undergone several date and deadline changes. Sandall Park Drive, from the junction of Leger Way to Thorne Road, will remain closed until the end of April. We will be working during the early hours (1am to 4am) on the Shaw Lane roundabout and Thorne Road (by Boundary Avenue) until the first week of April. There will be a lane closure on the roundabout and temporary lights to manage traffic flow as we complete these sections. Then, we will move to Sandall Park roundabout onto Leger Way, from Tuesday 7th to 20th April, where there will be a lane closure. Working on multiple main roads is a complex task and can be very disruptive to communities, we apologise for the inconveniences caused and aim to minimise disruption where possible. Please allow some extra time for your journey when travelling in the area. This scheme is expected to be complete by May, thank you for your continued patience.
