Hey, Yorkshire Water here! We wanted to let customers know that we’re upgrading our network in the Wheatley Hills area. Our partners Galliford Try, will begin work replacing old water mains in the area from Monday 5 January, starting on Thorne Road. To keep everyone safe while we carry out this essential work, there’ll be two way traffic lights in place at the junction of Boundary Avenue from Monday 5 January until Friday 6 February. We’ll keep you updated with how the work progresses as we continue to replace old pipes in Wheatley Hills. Please allow extra time for your journey if you’re travelling in the area and thank you for bearing with us!
