Hi! I’m Erin, the founder of The Legal Nurse Collective and I am so happy you found my page! Welcome!! I started this page wanting to let Nurses know how to get started as a Legal Nurse in an affordable way! I have compiled a ton of information in one platform that’s evolved and deepened since August of 2023 to make it easy for Nurses looking into Legal Nurse Consulting. I wish someone had advised me I didn’t need a $10K course back in 2015 when I first started researching. Here is YOUR SIGN. I started researching Legal Nursing in 2015 after I became engaged. Finally at 22 weeks pregnant in 2016, I attended a class that was $10K. The class was informative but it didn’t give me basic realistic steps to get started. Once I broke into the career, I found out two years later I didn’t even need a course at all and especially not a 10k one. Oh how I was sick to my stomach. Once I became a Mama, I knew I wanted more for my family than being gone from my babies for a full day. I wanted to build this Legal Nurse Consulting side business to full time income but imposter syndrome held me back. Then In 2020, I was furloughed from both of my bedside nursing jobs 2 weeks before my husband was furloughed. We wallowed for a bit then suddenly I began to realize the benefits of no commute, eating dinner earlier & together, no rushing out the door to chase the time clock, and just time freedom. I decided to dig my heels into Legal Nurse Consulting and take the risk of not go back to the hospital. I have never looked back. As I shared my story, more nurses were in my DMs asking how to start for flexibility for themselves. I began teaching nurses how to get started affordably in LNC. One guide evolved into a mentorship program I didn’t even plan because I listened to their needs and made the process it easy for them. I have also recently taken on teaching Nurses how to build their digital product business via social media too.
