Join us for a week on the stunning island of Koh Lanta, where nature, beautiful beaches, delicious Thai food and ethical elephant encounters meet. What your week entails: 🐘 Spend your days observing the elephants’ natural behaviours and learning the unique histories of our residents and their dedicated mahouts. 🌱 Get hands-on with our reforestation projects. You’ll collect seeds from the sanctuary forest and create seed balls to ensure a future food source for the herd. 🌰Assist in preparing essential herbal supplements, nutrient-rich balls, and tasty treats to keep our elephants healthy and happy. 💩Learn the fascinating, eco-friendly process of making paper from elephant dung. 🌿 Follow our expert guides through lush landscapes on a trek to a local waterfall, discovering the diverse flora and fauna of the island along the way. 👨🏾‍🍳 Master the art of Thai cooking using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. 🐐 Beyond the elephants, spend time with our other rescued residents, including our 6 dogs, 11 goats, and various chickens and Bengal cats. 🏖 Meet Charae and the family behind the sanctuary, and enjoy plenty of free time to relax on Koh Lanta’s beaches or swim in the turquoise Andaman Sea. This exclusive programme runs twice monthly.
