Hi I’m Josh. 5 years ago I used to party my ass off, piss my life away and blame the world when anything negative happened to me. 4 years ago in the middle of a corporate start up with my father I found he was addicted to methamphetamine and developed paranoid schizophrenia, I then lost a couple of friends to freak accidents and suicide. Got fired. And went on the doll. After licking my wounds for 2 years and saying fuck the world I finally took ownership of the one thing I still had control of… my reaction. So I started looking for the lessons. This lead me to study the inflammatory system more in depth as I couldn’t understand why my mind was telling me I was so fucking worthless every dam day I was awake. I knew something was going on at a deeper level. What I found is I was stuck in a state of fight or flight. What I found was that this psychologically triggered fight or flight could be lowered by physiological shit that I was doing to much better help me deal with the psychological shit that was going on. I mean how well can one actually deal with trauma and look for the lessons when constantly “running from a tiger”. So I went back to my roots in exercise science and nutrition, whilst also tying in new modalities such as the respiratory system in, for autonomic nervous system regulation. And found I was able to lower my chronic state of fight or flight enough to then look for the lessons and find the gratitudes of the fuckery of what was going on in my world. And therefore change the chemicals being released in my brain every time I thought about those “shitty” situations from being horribly negative to, to beautifully positive. Thank you dad for showing me how to build a business, I am successful beyond my dreams now. Thank you to the lads that I lost for showing me to not waste a fucking second. Thank you to the lady that fired me for showing me I needed to create multiple revenue streams. Without any of you I wouldn’t be where I am so I have nothing but gratitude. And in this mental clarity, and positive hormonal releases I was able to build my business from a place of love rather than building a business whilst “running from a tiger”.
