Hey there, that’s me Blaine Hitzfield, the second oldest of seven brothers who all still work at our family farm in Roanoke, IN. Through four generations and 20+ years of farming, we’ve learned a lot about what it takes to deliver healthier, more trustworthy meats to our customers. We encourage you to take just the next two-minutes to read about how our farm is making a difference in how we raise and deliver meats to customers. Our livestock is raised on open pastures, both on our family farm in Roanoke, Indiana, and on our trusted partner farms here in the USA. 𝐀 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬. Over the past decade, we’ve meticulously chosen partner farms to join us in the shared goal of regenerating soils. These are not just co-laborers in farming; many have become longtime friends, actively joining hands with us to improve soil health far beyond the boundaries of our 550-acre Indiana farm. Each of our core partners is rigorously vetted to ensure proper adherence to our standards: No use of pesticides or herbicides. Rather, a shared commitment to steward the land and create lively, nutrient-dense soil without the use of chemicals. No hormones, antibiotics, steroids, or mRNA vaccines. Rather, we foster naturally healthy livestock to build strong immunity. No crates, cages or feedlots…ever. Rather, we raise and manage livestock to intentionally graze open pastures to live out the principles of regenerative farming. ♻️ 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠… 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭. What it is... is a traditional approach to farming that focuses on rebuilding soil health and enriching the animals who inhabit it without the need of chemicals or fertilizers. What is it NOT… the same type of natural or organic meat you’d receive at your local grocery store, supermarket or what’s made headlines recently: fake, plant-based or lab grown meat. – Beyond the livestock and land that makes us unique, you may also notice that our names all start with “B”.
