OAV බ්‍රෙමන් සහ බ්‍රෙමන් වාණිජ හා කර්මාන්ත මණ්ඩලය (IHK බ්‍රෙමන්) විසින් බර්ලිනයේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා තානාපති කාර්යාලයේ සහාය ඇතිව බ්‍රෙමන් හි සංවිධානය කරන ලද ඉහළ මට්ටමේ ව්‍යාපාර ප්‍රවර්ධන වැඩසටහනකට විදේශ කටයුතු, විදේශ රැකියා සහ සංචාරක අමාත්‍ය ගරු විජිත හේරත් මහතා සමඟ එක්වීමට ලැබීම ගැන මම සතුටු වෙමි. IHK බ්‍රෙමන් හි සභාපති ඇන්ඩ්‍රේ ග්‍රෝබියන් මහතා සහ ජර්මනියේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා තානාපතිනි ගරු වරුණි මුතුකුමාරණ මහත්මිය, අමාත්‍ය උපදේශක සෙනුජා සමරවීර මහතා සහ උපදේශක සහ චාන්සරි ප්‍රධානී තිවංක අතුරලිය මහත්මිය සමඟ ඵලදායී සාකච්ඡා පැවැත්විණි. ශ්‍රී ලංකා එක්ස්පෝ 2026 (2026 ජූනි 18–21) සඳහා සහභාගී වන ලෙස ජර්මානු ව්‍යාපාරික නියෝජිත පිරිසකට ආරාධනාවක් ඉදිරිපත් කරමින් අපි ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අපනයන විභවය, උපායමාර්ගික සැපයුම් වාසි සහ ආයෝජන අවස්ථා ඉස්මතු කළෙමු. වෙළඳාම, සැපයුම්, මෝටර් රථ සහ සංචාරක ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ සහයෝගීතාව පුළුල් කිරීම සඳහා නව මාර්ග ගවේෂණය කරමින්, බ්‍රෙමන් නගරාධිපති මහතා වන ඇන්ඩ්‍රියාස් බොවෙන්ෂුල්ට් සහ ජර්මනියේ ෆෙඩරල් විදේශ අමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය ජොහාන් වඩේෆුල් සමඟ ද අපි සම්බන්ධ වුණා. ජර්මානු ව්‍යාපාරික ප්‍රජාව සමඟ හවුල්කාරිත්වය තවදුරටත් ශක්තිමත් කරමින්, සම්භාවනීය අමුත්තන් 350 කට අධික සංඛ්‍යාවක් සහභාගී වූ, බ්‍රෙමන් නගර ශාලාවේ පැවති OAV බ්‍රෙමන් පරිච්ඡේදයේ 125 වන සංවත්සර සැමරුමත් සමඟ වැඩසටහන අවසන් විය. Vijitha Herath, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment & Tourism, at a high-level business promotion programme in Bremen organised by OAV Bremen and the Bremen Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Bremen), with the support of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Berlin. Productive discussions were held with Mr. André Grobien, President of IHK Bremen, together with H.E. Waruni Muthukumarana, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Germany, Mr. Senuja Samaraweera, Minister Counsellor, and Ms. Thivanka Athuraliya, Counsellor & Head of Chancery. We highlighted Sri Lanka’s export potential, strategic logistics advantages and investment opportunities while extending an invitation for a German business delegation to participate in Sri Lanka Expo 2026 (18–21 June 2026). We also engaged with Mr. Andreas Bovenschulte, Mayor of Bremen, and Dr. Johann Wadephul, Federal Foreign Minister of Germany, exploring new avenues to expand cooperation in trade, logistics, automotive and tourism.
