#PRESS #RELEASE SACBW Takes Hands with Badisa to Colour the World with Care The South African Council for Business Women (SACBW) is proud to be taking hands with Badisa as part of our 2026 Social Development focus - a relationship rooted in care, compassion, and shared responsibility. At SACBW, we believe that building strong businesses and building strong communities go hand in hand. True impact is not measured only in growth, but in the lives, we uplift along the way. Badisa is a well-established social development organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable children, families, the elderly, and individuals facing hardship. Through community-based programmes and sustainable care initiatives, their work restores dignity, strengthens families, and brings hope where it is needed most. Their values of compassion, stewardship, and service resonate deeply with our own. As part of this growing relationship, SACBW is honoured to support Badisa’s #KuumbaCareDay – Colour the World with Care campaign - our first collective action for 2026. Next year we hope to be part of the official day in March when we can wear our blue attire and stickers to colour the world blue! From now until Mandela Day on 18 July 2026, R20 stickers will be made available in support of this initiative. Of each sticker sold, R10 will be donated to Belly2Brain, founded by SACBW’s 2025 Warrior Woman National Winner, Dominique Tibbles. The funds raised will directly support Belly2Brain’s annual Sandwich Day event on 18 July, where volunteers prepare and distribute peanut butter and jam sandwiches to vulnerable communities. In 2025, the initiative exceeded expectations by preparing and distributing more than 17,000 sandwiches, reaching organisations such as: Cradle of Hope, Bethany House, GLOW, Nice Diederichs Feeding Program, Wings of Inspiration, Grace House Upliftment Centre. Each sticker purchased is more than a contribution, it is a visible reminder that small acts of care, multiplied, create meaningful change. A Long-Term Vision for Change SACBW is deeply excited about the long-term relationship we are building with Badisa as a valued Company Member. Together, we envision initiatives that mobilise women in business to support sustainable social development efforts that strengthen families and communities. “Our goal is not only to build successful businesses, but to build a society where care and opportunity flourish,” said the SACBW leadership team. “Partnering with Badisa allows us to turn compassion into measurable impact.” We invite all SACBW members and partners to join us in supporting #KuumbaCareDay and to help us Colour the World with Care as we journey toward Mandela Day 2026.
