Addie has recently made the transition from a full training program to a lighter workload here at home, and with that change has come some modifications to her diet! While premium forage still serves as the base of her nutritional needs, @purina_horse gives Addie the necessary support as she continues to develop. 🐴 In an effort to feed Addie calories in an efficient way without throwing excess grain in her bucket, we’ve added in the @purina_horse Omega Match Ahiflower Oil Supplement at dinner time. This is a new-to-us product, but I’m loving how the oil is designed to support coat, skin, joint health, and immune function amongst other benefits! ❤️🤍 @purina_horse not only ensures Leah is living her best golden-oldie life, but now they’re helping us offer Addie all of the nutrients she needs to thrive. Broadening my education around nutrition has allowed me to become a better rounded horsewoman. I’ll admit - when Leah was in a training program, I didn’t think much about her diet because there was a six degrees of separation. Hindsight is always 2020, and I wish I would’ve known then what I know now. However, better late than never, right? Between working with our equine nutrition advisor and @purina_horse, I feel more confident that I can better manage my horses as a whole. That’s pretty dang cool !! 😎💓
