🐾 Veterinary Receptionist — Lakeshore Animal Hospital 📍 Location 347 Waterloo Geneva Road, Waterloo, NY 13165 Just 45 minutes from Syracuse and Rochester 💼 Position Full-time 🐶 About the Role Lakeshore Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. You'll be the friendly first face clients and their pets see when they walk through our doors. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people and animals and thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment. What You'll Do • Greet clients and pets in a warm, professional manner • Answer a multi-line phone system and respond to client inquiries • Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar • Check patients in and out for appointments and procedures • Collect payments and process invoices accurately • Maintain and update patient medical records • Assist with prescription refills and medication pick-ups • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming • Support the veterinary team to keep daily operations running smoothly 🧠 What We're Looking For • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational and time management skills • Comfortable working with animals and their owners • Proficiency with computers; experience with veterinary practice management software is a plus • Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping • Ability to remain calm and compassionate during stressful situations • Prior veterinary or medical office experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate ✅ How to Apply Tap "Apply Now" below and submit the form — it only takes a few minutes.
