Now Hiring: Landfill Laborer 📍 Location Lake Mills, IA 50450 💰 Pay $19.00/hour Weekly pay 💼 Employment Full-Time | Steady Hours 🎯 Benefits • Weekly paychecks • Early start / early off schedule • Safety training provided • PPE provided • Growth opportunities in environmental services • Safety-first culture 🧠 What We're Looking For • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods • Willingness to follow safety protocols and work as part of a team • Must pass a drug screening and background check • Prior labor, landscaping, construction, or sanitation experience is a plus but not required • No education requirement 🔧 What You'll Be Doing • Pick up windblown debris and litter around the landfill and fence lines • Direct traffic and guide commercial vehicles safely on site • Assist with cleanup and maintenance of work areas, roadways, and equipment • Perform general labor like shoveling, raking, sweeping, and minor repairs • Report hazards or equipment issues to the site supervisor • Help ensure environmental and safety regulations are followed • Assist scale house or equipment operators as needed Please note: Overtime and shift differential are not offered for this role. 🌤 Work Environment This is an active, outdoor role at an industrial site.
