(Designed as a complete stand-alone experience and the second of a two-part series) Date & Time: 5/3/26, 1-3pm (***Part 1 offered same day 10am-12) Format: Experiential · Somatic · Creative Materials provided: Clay, mats or chairs, journals Workshop Description What if the parts of you that feel critical, controlling, reactive, or protective… are actually trying to help? Join Elaine Gallas, Somatic Psychotherapist, and Sheryl Fatse, Somatic Coach and Practitioner, for this second experiential workshop of the series, where we gently deepen into parts-work through a somatic and creative lens, exploring protector parts, both the ones that work proactively to keep life organized and safe, and the ones that move in more urgently when something feels like too much. Building on the foundations from Part 1, this experience invites you to notice how these parts live in the body, how they express themselves through sensation, movement, and impulse, and how they relate to one another. Together, we begin to connect with these parts through Self energy, a calm, curious, and compassionate presence within. Through movement, guided meditation, and clay exploration, we will: • Notice how a protector experience shows up in the body • Explore its role, patterns, and protective intention • Gently differentiate between parts that manage and parts that react • Experience Self energy as a resource for relating • Externalize the felt experience of a protector and of Self through clay • Explore the relationship between inner experiences through space and movement This workshop remains gently paced and nervous system-supportive, emphasizing choice, curiosity, and embodied awareness. No prior art or movement experience is needed. Note: While therapeutic in nature, this workshop is educational and not designed for processing complex trauma. Participants are encouraged to stay within their window of capacity and honor their boundaries. Learning Intentions Participants will: • Deepen understanding of protector patterns, including both managing and reactive responses • Recognize how different protective experiences show up in the body, such as tension, urgency, control, or shutdown • Begin to differentiate between experiences that organize and those that arise in the moment • Experience Self energy as a grounded, relational presence • Practice relating to protective experiences with curiosity rather than resistance • Explore relational dynamics through movement and space • Use creative expression to externalize and integrate felt experience Investment: $55 ***Special deal: Register for both Part 1 and Part 2 and receive $10 discount (Before registering, email Elaine directly for coupon code: [email protected]
